Under the direction of the administration and Township Council, our team administers and regulates development in the Township, with the overall goal of insuring sound development and maintenance of property and land in the Township.

The department is guided by the Township Master Plan, which seeks to provide a high quality of life in Cherry Hill by balancing commercial development with the preservation and conservation of our open space and residential communities. With this challenging mandate, we work to ensure that Cherry Hill remains an attractive place to live, work, play, and visit while enhancing Cherry Hill's sustainability for generations to come.
