Join us for a relaxing afternoon of Tai Chi in the Park. We will prepare for our Tai Chi practice by doing a series of Qigong exercises that will warm up and stretch our muscles, massage our organs, get our Chi flowing and sharpen our concentration. You will then follow along as we practice the Simplified Tai Chi Chuan 24 posture form. This form is one of today's most popular forms of Tai Chi. It helps to improve balance, strength, flexibility, and relaxes your mind and body as well as helps to reduce stress, improve the immune system, and creates a deeper awareness of breath and body coordination. You will experience a sense of calm and peace while experiencing the nature around you. All skill levels are welcome. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a towel and a water bottle. Must register in advance.
