Description:
The use of real estate appraisers is required from time to time to provide general appraisal services as required by Cherry Hill Twp.

The Township of Cherry Hill is soliciting proposals from qualified firms interested in performing the duties and functions for the Township Appraiser and intends to award a professional services contract to one or more Appraiser firms for the defined scope of work. Services include those listed in the Project Specifications.

Only comments and questions responded to by formal written addenda will be binding. Questions may be faxed to the Purchasing Department 856-665-7416 or emailed ). In order to be given consideration, written requests for interpretation must be received on or before May 16, 2019. Any faxed or emailed questions should be followed up with a telephone call (856-488-7848) to ensure receipt.

Term:  Twelve (12) months from adoption of awarding Resolution by the Governing  Body.

Qualifications:
Applicants should demonstrate experience and knowledge of the field of appraisal, particularly as it relates to municipal tax appeals and condemnation issues.
Special Requirements:
1. Applicants must hold a General Certifications License issued by the New Jersey State Real Estate Board. Said license(s) must be active and have no violations attached to it.
2. Must have a minimum of seven (7) years’ experience appraising real property within the County of Camden.
3. Must have a minimum five (5) years’ experience in the representation of municipalities in matters before the County Board of Taxation and the New Jersey Tax Court for ad valorem tax matters and the Superior Court for condemnation proceedings and must have demonstrable experience as an appraiser establishing values for the purpose of condemnation matters on behalf of municipal entities.
