Addendum #1 has been issued and may be downloaded below OR picked up in the Purchasing Dept., Rm 207, 820 Mercer St., Cherry Hill, NJ.  Addendum #1 will be forwarded to all registered vendors as prescribed by law.  Failure to sign Addendum #1, complete and sign "Acknowledgement of Receipt of Addenda" and return with your submission will be cause for rejection of your bid.

The purpose of this contract is to secure towing, recovery & storage services for motor vehicles that are:
1.  Standing in violation of current laws or ordinances and/or that pose a safety hazard or a security risk, under circumstances where the owner or the operator is incapable of or unwilling to relocate the vehicle; or
2.  Abandoned on public or private property; or
3.  Recovered stolen and unable to be immediately claimed by the rightful legal owner; or
4.  The instrument or fruits of a crime; or
5.  Damaged; or
6.  Disabled; or
7.  To be impounded; or
8.  Otherwise determined by the Police Department to require lawful removal and/or storage.

Qualifications:
This community caretaking function, which is administered by the Police Dept, requires a high degree of competence, integrity, reliability, expertise & responsible business ethics on the part of the Contractor. Accordingly, the specifications contained herein are designed to secure the services of a professional, emergency towing/recovery Contractor, at a competitive & reasonable cost, while protecting the property rights & financial interests of vehicle owners.

Term of contract: Initial 1 year shall begin on/or about November 15, 2018, 12:01 a.m. Contracts must have been fully executed by the vendor and the Twp officials prior to commencement date/time. In addition, at the end of the initial term, by mutual written consent of the Twp and the Contractor, the contract may be extended for up to 2 - 1 year terms following the end of the original time period provided all terms, conditions & bid prices remain the same as the original contract, the Contractor has satisfactorily met all obligations of the contract & approval has been received by Twp Council.
