[ARCHIVED] Leaf Collection Reminders

Leaf Collection Reminder

With the 2020 Leaf Collection right around the corner, here are a couple friendly reminders:
🍁 Please wait until your neighborhood is posted with leaf collection signs before raking leaves to the curb.
πŸ‚ Please do not place leaves in the street. Leaves must be placed on the park strip (the area behind curb or edge of road) or at the front property line.
🍁 Leaves may be bagged for weekly collection by Republic Services - biodegradable paper bags only, or put into open cans. DO NOT USE PLASTIC BAGS. The Department of Public Works encourages this disposal method as leaves are picked up weekly on your regular trash collection day.
πŸ‚ Residents may take leaves to the Kresson Road Ecology Site for disposal beginning on October 26, 2020 from 7:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Leaves only, no branches, grass or other vegetative waste.
