Reminder: February Quarterly Property Taxes Due

This is a courtesy reminder that the next quarterly property tax payment is due on February 1.
There is a 10-day grace period for tax payments. If the 10th day falls on a weekend/holiday, the grace period extends to the next business day. During the grace period, the Tax Office will extend its hours from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday-Friday.
Payments made after the close of business on the last day of the grace period will accrue interest dating back to the original due date.
Tax payments are due Aug. 1, Nov. 1, Feb. 1 and May 1. Residential sewer rent is due on April 1. Commercial sewer rent is due on Nov. 1 and May 1.

Cherry Hill 2021 first half tax bills will be mailed on January 26, 2021. Residents will receive an extended grace period as a result of the delayed mailing. The grace period will be extended until February 22, 2021. Please be advised that payments received after that extended date will be charged interest back to February 1st. The amounts will be available on the website starting January 16, 2021. 

As a reminder, payments can be made by mailing a check to the Cherry Hill Township Tax Collector's Office, 820 Mercer Street Cherry Hill, NJ 08002 or by physically dropping off your cash or check payment at the Cherry Hill Municipal Building, Tax Collector’s Office, 820 Mercer Street. Please utilize the mail slot which is located on the second set of double doors at the back entrance to the Municipal Building. Payments can also be made by credit card, debit card or electronic check (e-check) on the Township’s website at

For those that utilize their banks online bill pay for quarterly tax payments – be sure to include your tax account number on your payment. We are updating to an electronic process for these payment types and it will be very important to use the proper tax account number to ensure prompt credit to your account.
