Smoke & Carbon Monoxide Alarm Compliance Certification Inspection

Selling a home?
When selling a one or two family home in Cherry Hill, you must obtain a Certificate of Smoke Alarm and Carbon Monoxide Detector Compliance CSACMAPFEC 5:70-2.3 (a) prior to the settlement. 

  • Please submit your request for inspection 3 to 4 weeks prior to the settlement date.
  • The certificate will be issued at the time of the inspection if the home is compliant and payment is received.

  • The home must be prepared prior to the inspection appointment!
  • Temporary certificates are NOT issued.
