Kennedy Health 2017 Recreation Sponsor

The Recreation Department sponsors many events each year and oversees community athletics, history, arts, cultural, and summer camp programs at sites throughout the township. In addition, the Recreation Department also provides a new schedule of youth, adult, and senior education classes each season.

The Community Magazine is mailed to each home in Cherry Hill. Registration can be done by mail, in person, or online. If registering by mail, click here for a registration form.
  
Registration for all spring and summer programs is now open. Summer magazines should be in homes starting the week of May 1.

Morning Fun 2017 Color  

WHO: Ages 6* through entering 6th grade for Cherry Hill residents only
*Campers must be 6 years old by October 1, 2017
WHEN: June 26- August 3rd (M-TH), /  8:30 a.m.- 12 p.m.
FEE: $98; $85 for each sibling;
After June 9: $108; $85 for each sibling

Camp Locations: Kilmer | Knight (currently waitlisted) | Sharp | Woodcrest   

Morning Fun Camp is for children of all skill levels, and each site offers your child a combination of crafts, games and sports.  

Camp is open Monday through Thursday, and optional field trips are available on Fridays for an additional fee.

For the safety of our children, all campers are required to wear an official Morning Fun camp t-shirt each day, including field trips.  One t-shirt is included in the registration fee; additional shirts can be purchased in the Recreation Department for $5 each.

*Drama is a separate program and not offered in Morning Fun this year.  However, it will be offered at West in the summer and will run the same days/times as Morning Fun as before.

CHERRY HILL DRAMA CAMP

WHO: Children in Grades 2-6 (both Residents and Non-Residents)
WHEN: June 26-August 3rd (M-TH), /  8:30 a.m.- 12 p.m.
Performances on August 2 

FEE: Early Bird $120 (before June 9) / Regular Fee $130 
Camp Location: Cherry Hill High School West

In Drama Camp, children going into second grade up to those starting middle school in September participate and learn about one of America’s largest and most influential contributions to Theater: the Musical.  Campers will have fun while discovering the dedication, work, and thrill that go into a production as they sing, dance, act, and make new friends. At the end of the six-week program, campers will perform a half-hour musical for their family and friends on Wednesday, August 2. A completed medical form is required before the program begins but not at the time of registration. Show: Disney's Aristocats Kids.

GLEE 2017

WHO: Children in Grades 4-10 (Residents and Non-Residents)
WHEN: June 26-July 27 (M-TH), /  9:00 a.m.- 1 p.m.
FEE:$375 
Camp Location: Cherry Hill High School East

Our Glee program is designed to develop musical skills. singing and audition techniques, stage presence, and confidence as a musical performer. Everyone will be featured on the East stage during three final performaces singing today's greatest hits!
