Spotlight Programs

The School of Pennsylvania Ballet brings its Head of Children's and Adult Programs, Jessica Kilpatrick, to facilitate a fun and exciting week of ballet and arts & crafts, culminating in a performance! Each day will be spent making friends, exploring creative movement and classical ballet technique, along with the telling of the iconic story "The Sleeping Beauty" through dance. Fall into a whimsical world with us as we create our very own costumes and props that will be used to support our end of the week performance. Please send your dancer to camp with a small snack each day.

A writer is someone who pays attention to the world (Susan Sontag). In the Creative Writing Workshop, writers will engage with fellow writing enthusiasts or fellow reluctant writers to find and share inspiration, write and revise in a setting of support and encouragement. Workshop participants are only required to come with curiosity and a writer's notebook to engage and explore the world around them, indoors and out. This writing workshop will include everything from journaling to flash fiction, spoken work to graphic narratives. Writing is the only recipe to become a better writer. All skill levels welcome.
